Daily Reflection Comments

Thank you Rhode for today’s (Mon 09/23/24) reflection. These words speak loud to me. I'm truly a living testimony of God's timing. If i can summarize my life to date in a few words, I would say it is about not comparing myself to others and waiting on God timing. It's never easy to see fellow classmates getting promoted, married, having kids, celebrating milestones in their careers, personal and family lives while I'm still at the same place. Sometimes I feel like not having anything new to share because things are the same since last year or x years ago.

Nonetheless, I learned to keep praying and waiting on the Lord. His timing is not mine, and each person has his/her own path. When my time comes, every blessings are poured down on to me. It's not a matter of speed, but rather on God’s timing. The blessings may come in disguise, or not as we expected, but rest assure, at the end it will all make sense. Every event in our livesis a piece of a puzzle that God is putting together. My favorite quote in the Bible is from Jeremiah 29, 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
