Women of the Bible

Thank you Kevin for your beautiful reflection 🥰 on women of the Bible. The sentence that captured my attention is " [,,,] God made them equal partners in life yet unique in form and function." This needs to be bold, highlighted and posted because society has it all mixed up. Many movements are seeking "gender neutral" or "gender equality", which in some aspects needs to be acknowledged, but they have forgotten that although we are equal partners, we are unique and different. We complete each other, having one without the other creates an imbalance which society tries to fill with whatever, rather than recognizing that you cannot simply remove one and replace it by anything else. God never created either man or woman to be more or less than each other, but rather to fill unique functions specific to one or the other. Imagine a world without any of these women you cited, or without any of the others unknown! It would be a boring place to live 😴 ! It's the difference in perspectives, approaches, personalities, temperament, behavior, action, thinking, that makes the world 🌎 beautiful and each of our lives worth living. We keep praying for each other.

Thanks again Kevin 🥰

Today,Kevin gives such a good definition of a woman. I took this sentence right for Kevin’s reflection “She is created, redeemed, blessed and gifted to be a blessing to those around her. As women we are valued and we will keep on using all our gifts to please the Lord, take care of ourselves and serve others as He wants us to do. Thank you, Kevin, for this great reflection.
