Pray to be thankful every day
I love today's reflection mostly the part where it is mentioned to thank the Lord for waking up and asking Him for our daily assignments and the strength to carry through the day.
Why don't we try practicing this and see what happens? If we truly surrender our day's work to the Lord and trust that He will provide us with the skills, tools and wisdom to sustain us as we go through it, wouldn't we have a different reaction when trouble arises? Wouldn't we be at peace and not let ourselves be carried to one side or the other? Wouldn't world pressure and expectations have less an effect on us?
