The Prayer Club mission is to use daily reflections and meditations to pray always and in all circumstances, and to walk with each other as we devote ourselves to know, love, and serve the Lord.
HISTORY OF JAX PRAYER CLUB
The Prayer Club’s journey began unexpectedly. On July 13, 2015, while Rhode and a friend, Micheline Nelson, were discussing their prayer life, they realized that they did not know how to pray. They decided to start praying on a different topic each week, asking the Lord for a specific grace. As St. Therese of Lisieux said, “everything is grace.” They subsequently invited family and friends to join them, and a small community of prayer warriors supporting and encouraging each other was created.

Rhode initially posted weekly scriptures, themes, and grace. As time went on, she started posting daily reflections. Two years later, Dr. Johanne Belizaire added a monthly challenge to motivate others, challenge their spirituality, and keep scriptures alive by applying them to their day-to-day living.

After five and a half years, with prayer, Rhode felt God calling her to expand the Prayer Club. A small Advisory and Leadership team was created. We do not know where the Lord is taking us, but we are willing to follow His lead and be obedient to His call. We are grateful to walk with the Lord in this faith journey.
