2024 in Review

At Jax Prayer Club and Outreach Ministry, we have so many things for which we are grateful. God has shown us that He cannot be outdone in generosity.

As a community of faithful Christians, we have achieved so much through the Prayer Club this year. Our collective efforts have made a significant impact, and we have much to be proud of.

Let's review briefly all that we have accomplished in 2024

First Women's Retreat

The first Women Retreat, “Arise and Shine,” was a success on May 18, 2024, presented by St. Joseph Spiritual Director and Jax Prayer Club. Jax Prayer was the sponsor for this free event. One hundred forty women were in attendance. See more

Christian Vision Board

We  had a Vision Board Session where JPC members were able to create a vision for their dreams with prayer.

Silent Retreat

An “Advent Silent Retreat” was held at Marywood Retreat Center on December 7, 2024. This retreat was also a success.

Homeless Ministry

The Jax Prayer Club made and donated 100 kits, which included blankets, gloves, hats, scarves, and socks, and donated a hearty meal for people experiencing homelessness.

Soup Kitchen in Haiti

The Jax Prayer Club will fully sponsor a soup kitchen in Haiti. Our First meal was on December 24, 2024. We are not fully operating as the house for the soup kitchen facility requires repairs. In the meantime, we will be serving at various locations until our permanent location is ready.

Nigertia Outreach

We also donated 30 envelopes to the poor children in Nigeria – each envelope had a Christmas card, a heartfelt note, and five dollars. The monetary gift was provided instead of toys as the children in this Nigerian Village do not play with toys.
