God the Father Blessed Jesus at His Baptism:
At His baptism: This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:17).
At the transfiguration: This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to Him! (Luke 9:35).
We, too, must receive Mother & Father's blessing to emulate God's footsteps.
