Thanks Catherine for this meditation; the bible verse: 'love your neighbor as yourself' (Lev. 19:18; James 2:8; Romans 13:9; Matthew 22:39; Galatians 5:14 etc.) is said to be the 'new' second commandment. Thanks so much for making crystal clear that an idol is anything we put ahead of God: Father, Son and holy Spirit ONE in the name of Jesus Christ.
