Happy 7th anniversary JPC

Already 7 years! It seems like yesterday we got together to pray because, like our sister Rhode mentioned, we each had a prayer routine or technic and wanted to improve or learn a better way to pray. We had no idea where this was going. It was just common people willing to pray together and be open to God's grace. Look at where we are today! A strong community of faithful believers from different denominations nationwide and since 2021 with our own website.

I have a better and deeper understanding of why Jesus asks us to come as we are, just be open to His grace, and He will do the rest. Bring our 2 fishes and 3 loaves of bread. Don't worry about the crowd being over 5,000 not counting women and children. Yes when we look at the issues in the world one might want to backup. Too many problems to solve. Where do we begin? What do we bring? And how many? The Lord is reminding us to just come as we are. What He did yesterday when feeding the crowds with only 3 loaves of bread and 2 fishes, He will do again with who you are and what you have.

As we celebrate our 7th anniversary let us take a leap of faith (if you have not done it already) and come. You are loved by God. He will not save you without you and He wants us to be each other's keepers. Let us reverse the words of Cain towards Abel and say instead I am my brother/sister keeper and the least we can do for each other is pray. The rest will come.

I hope you can join us for our evening of praise, worship and fellowship on Saturday July 23rd starting at 5:00pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. See flyer at the end of each daily reflection for details. Contact us for any questions.

May God bless you
