Two sisters: Martha and Mary
After the Blessed Mother Mary, if there are 2 women my mom, Marie, knows best in the Bible, without a doubt they are Martha and Mary. Ever since I was a kid, some days my mom wanted to be like Martha, other days Mary. Bottomline, just as she stated on today's reflection, we need to balance both roles because they are equally important. While hosting and serving we must time to listen to the Lord; at the same time after adoration, and prayer, we must put our faith into action by serving others in any capacity.
Great teaching and reminder of these 2 sisters, who are considered as friends of Our Lord Jesus. How many of us today, if Jesus were to return today, would be considered as friends of Jesus for Him to stay and dwell among us?
